Veterinary Technician Program
The Veterinary Technician Program at CAVT provides comprehensive training over 8 quarters, leading to an Associates in Applied Science degree in Veterinary Technology.
As a fully accredited program by COE (Council on Occupational Education) and AVMA (American Veterinary Medical Association), we ensure the highest quality education for our students.
Our program offers various financial aid options, including federal aid and VA assistance, and also accommodates self-paying students. Upon successful completion of the program, students are eligible to take the VTNE (Veterinary Technicians National Exam). Once they pass the VTNE, students receive certification through the CACVT (Colorado Association of Certified Veterinary Technicians), enabling them to apply for Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) status in the state of Colorado.
