How much is tuition? The tuition for the full 2-year program is $31,338, and the fees for the full program amount to $8,098. You can find detailed information in our Catalog.
Do you offer financial aid? Students who are eligible for Title IV funding or Veterans Administration funding can utilize those benefits at CAVT. When completing the FAFSA at studentaid.gov, please remember to include our school code: 41850.
Do you accept transfer credits? CAVT considers awarding transfer credits from accredited post-secondary institutions for applicable courses where a grade of “C” or better is achieved. Transfer credits can be requested for courses at the 100 level or higher that were completed within seven years prior to submitting an admissions application.
When do the terms start? Our program has terms starting in January, April, July, and October.
Do you provide clinical training? CAVT offers on-site clinical training during term 7. Additionally, we provide internships in term 8, giving students 400 hours of hands-on clinical experience. You’ll receive training in working with large and small animals, exotics, and equine nursing.
Do you have an online option? Currently, we do not offer an online option for our Veterinary Technician Program.
Can you take classes part-time? We highly recommend completing the program within the 2-year timeframe.
Can you work while attending CAVT? Our program is full-time and held during the daytime. Depending on your class schedule, you may be able to work part-time. However, it’s important to consider your ability to effectively manage your work and school schedules before making a decision to work while in school.
